چکیده
Severe psoriasis, a chronic inflammatory skin disease is increasingly being effectively managed by targeted immunotherapy but long-term poses health risk and loss of response. Therefore, there need for alternative therapy strategies. Mesenchymal stem/stromal cell (MSC) exosomes are widely known their potent immunomodulatory properties. Here we investigated if topically applied MSC could alleviate psoriasis-associated inflammation. Topically fluorescent on human explants were confined primarily to the stratum corneum with <1% input fluorescence exiting explant over 24-h period. Nevertheless, in mouse model imiquimod (IMQ) psoriasis significantly reduced IL-17 terminal complement activation complex C5b-9 skin. previously shown inhibit activation, specifically formation through CD59. Infiltration neutrophils into characteristic major cellular source release neutrophil extracellular traps (NETs). We propose that this alleviates NETS from accumulate beneath corneum.

Effects of Topical Application of Betamethasone on Imiquimod-induced Psoriasis-like Skin Inflammation in Mice.
Psoriasis is a chronic inflammatory skin disease mediated by dysregulated auto-reactive immune system. In this study, in order to confirm and further extend the pharmacological basis of topical steroids in psoriasis therapy, we investigated the effect of betamethasone ointment on imiquimod (IMQ)-induced skin inflammation in mice. In BALB/c mice, topical IMQ at the dose of 250 µg each on both si...
متن کاملResveratrol Ameliorates Imiquimod-Induced Psoriasis-Like Skin Inflammation in Mice
BACKGROUND The polyphenol resveratrol has anti-inflammatory effects in various cells, tissues, animals and human settings of low-grade inflammation. Psoriasis is a disease of both localized and systemic low-grade inflammation. The Sirtuin1 enzyme thought to mediate the effects of resveratrol is present in skin and resveratrol is known to down regulate NF-κB; an important contributor in the deve...
متن کاملDevelopment and Application of Mesenchymal Stem Cell-derived Exosomes in Cartilage Tissue Repair
Background and Aim: Cartilage defects treatment is one of the most common clinical challenges in orthopedics. The current management techniques help to control symptom and joint function. The cell-free approach to cartilage regeneration through paracrine action has been considered to accelerate and facilitate the healing process and the importance of its urgency in the recovery of military pe...
متن کاملInfluence of different types of contact hypersensitivity on imiquimod-induced psoriasis-like inflammation in mice
It is currently believed that psoriasis and allergic contact dermatitis (ACD) are different diseases; however, they share clinical similarities. The involvement of T helper 17 (Th17) cells in these disorders provides a novel opportunity to investigate the relationship between them. The present study aimed to determine whether the same or overlapping inflammatory pathways are involved in the two...
متن کاملEpigallocatechin-3-gallate (EGCG) inhibits imiquimod-induced psoriasis-like inflammation of BALB/c mice
BACKGROUND Psoriasis is a chronic inflammatory immune disease with undefined pathogenesis. It is associated with T cells, and the IL-23/IL17 axis is believed to be crucial in the pathogenesis. The present treatments have side effects that influence the compliance of patients. Tea polyphenol is extracted from tea polyphenols, and its main active ingredient is Epigallocatechin-3-gallate (EGCG), w...
